Signature Needle Arts is committed to being environmentally responsible by maintaining a clean and safe environment, both in our shop and throughout our manufacturing processes. Both anodizing and brite dip anodizing are permitted within the state of Wisconsin. Our facility is located within 8 miles of the Illinois border, and our anodizing supplier was selected not as a means to circumvent Wisconsin environmental laws, but rather to utilize the closest resources to our facility. This results in both lower costs to the consumer and the ability to maintain our commitment to environmentally friendly processes. The brite dip process that is used on many aluminum components was selected for the needles in order to achieve a reflective finish that meets cosmetic standards. All of the chemistry used in this process must be neutralized to meet United States EPA regulations. In addition, our anodizer, confirms that all "products, materials, and substances used to anodize aluminum are fully compliant with the provisions contained in EU directive RoHS (Restrictions of Hazardous Substances 2002/95/EC (including permitted exceptions)." Signature will continue its commitment to protecting the environment as a part of its business practice.
